This is a fantastic opportunity for an RF IC Design Engineer with one of the world’s tech leaders, based in Cambridge. Our client is building the next generation of highly integrated wireless silicon, pushing the boundaries of RF performance, power efficiency and system integration. Their chips enable everything from smartphones and IoT devices to next-generation connectivity, and they’re looking for talented RF IC Designers to help define what's next.

Here you’ll be working as part of an experienced RF IC Design team, developing the specification, architecture, circuit design, implementation, and verification of challenging Analog and RF circuit blocks and subsystems for 6G RF ICs. The role emphasizes innovative signal path and synthesizer design, targeting industry-leading performance and successful first-silicon validation.

Our client is keen to hear from smart IC Design Engineers with relevant experience within RF IC design. Requirements include:

  • A degree (BEng, MEng or PhD) in Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Commercial experience in RFIC or analogue/mixed-signal IC design (engineers with 1-2 years relevant industry experience considered).
  • A strong understanding of CMOS RF design and RF system fundamentals.
  • Experience designing in advanced CMOS technologies is advantageous.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
