An exciting new opportunity has opened for a Principal Electronics Engineer to join a technology-focused engineering team in Cambridge. As Principal Electronics Engineer, you will take a leading role in the design and development of advanced electronic systems, working across the full hardware lifecycle from architecture through to validation. The role will involve driving technical decisions, leading complex hardware development, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Lead the design and development of complex analogue and digital electronic systems.
- Define hardware architecture and guide projects from concept through to production.
- Support prototype bring-up, testing, and debugging activities.
- Collaborate with embedded software, firmware, and mechanical teams to ensure successful system integration.
A degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required, along with extensive experience in analogue and digital circuit design and PCB development. Experience leading complex engineering projects or providing technical leadership is also essential.
