We are partnering with an innovative and rapidly growing company in Cambridge that is looking to expand its Mechanical Engineering team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing mechanical components and assemblies for both new and existing products, producing engineering drawings for prototype and volume manufacture, supporting prototype builds and assembly activities, and creating technical build documentation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across engineering and manufacturing, contributing to the development of high-quality, manufacturable products.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of industry experience within mechanical or product design
- Experience designing mechanical components and assemblies
- Knowledge of electrical integration
- Understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacture) principles
- Experience using 3D CAD modelling and mechanical analysis tools
- Strong communication skills and a hands-on engineering mindset
