I'm working with a team looking for a Hardware Security Research Engineer to explore complex electronic and cyber-physical systems, uncover vulnerabilities and develop innovative solutions to challenging security problems. You’ll be working across:
- Researching and analysing hardware and embedded systems
- Identifying hardware and cyber-physical security vulnerabilities
- Developing proof‑of‑concept prototypes and technical demonstrators
- Debugging hardware using tools such as JTAG, UART, SWD, oscilloscopes and logic analysers
- Reverse engineering hardware and firmware where required
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative security solutions
- Presenting technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders
We’re looking for someone with:
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a related discipline
- Experience with electronics, embedded systems or hardware development
- Hands‑on experience debugging hardware and building prototypes
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- The ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly
- A collaborative approach to working across multidisciplinary teams
