I'm working with a team looking for a Hardware Security Research Engineer to explore complex electronic and cyber-physical systems, uncover vulnerabilities and develop innovative solutions to challenging security problems. You’ll be working across:

  • Researching and analysing hardware and embedded systems
  • Identifying hardware and cyber-physical security vulnerabilities
  • Developing proof‑of‑concept prototypes and technical demonstrators
  • Debugging hardware using tools such as JTAG, UART, SWD, oscilloscopes and logic analysers
  • Reverse engineering hardware and firmware where required
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative security solutions
  • Presenting technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a related discipline
  • Experience with electronics, embedded systems or hardware development
  • Hands‑on experience debugging hardware and building prototypes
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • The ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly
  • A collaborative approach to working across multidisciplinary teams
