An exciting opportunity has arisen with an innovative computing hardware company, based in Cambridge. You will be responsible for building cross‑platform desktop software across Linux, Windows, and macOS, and writing and reviewing high‑quality C/C++ code. This is a hands‑on engineering role with a high degree of ownership, working closely with colleagues across multiple software layers to deliver robust, user‑focused applications. You will commit to an onsite working model in Cambridge, with a minimum of 4 days a week required.
Experience and qualifications:
- Strong C++ desktop development
- Experience with cross‑platform development, including Linux, Windows and macOS
- Development of Graphics User Interfaces (GUI)
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and take ownership of issues end‑to‑end
Desired: experience with frameworks like Qt.
