The Electronics Test and Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with design and hardware teams to ensure test coverage, manufacturability, and reliable production output. The Electronics Test and Manufacturing Engineer will also collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to implement robust test strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Boundary Scan and JTAG test programs for production
  • Review electronic board designs to ensure suitable test access and coverage
  • Support integration of Boundary Scan into wider manufacturing test flows
  • Investigate issues flagged by Boundary Scan, JTAG or functional tests
  • Work closely with internal engineering teams and external manufacturing partners
  • Generate clear documentation for test processes, results and diagnostics

Requirements

  • Experience working with electronic hardware in a test or manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of Boundary Scan, JTAG and test access on PCB assemblies
  • Familiarity with common test tools, fixtures and debug workflows
  • Ability to interpret schematics, test reports and diagnostic outputs
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience with scripting tools for automating JTAG or Boundary Scan routines
  • Understanding of automated production test systems
  • Several years in a relevant test, NPI or manufacturing environment
