We’re working with an exciting client operating across the telecommunications and satellite sector, who are looking to add an experienced Senior Validation Engineer to their growing engineering team. This is a great opportunity for a hands‑on validation engineer to work across chip and system‑level testing, with exposure to RF, analogue and high‑speed communication technologies.

The role will involve:

  • Planning, estimating and developing system validation and test strategies
  • Validation of complex telecommunications and satellite systems
  • Testing analogue, RF and high‑speed communication blocks
  • Working with SerDes and high‑speed links
  • Developing automated test environments using C/C++/Python or similar
  • Investigating complex failures and driving issues through to root cause
  • Working closely with hardware, software and systems engineering teams
  • Managing defects and technical knowledge using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Contributing to validation methodologies and continuous improvement

We’re looking for experience with:

  • Telecommunications or satellite systems
  • Chip and system‑level validation
  • Analogue, RF and high‑speed communication blocks
  • SerDes, BERTs, DCAs and high‑speed sampling scopes
  • RF test equipment including spectrum analysers, VNAs/PNAs, signal generators and power meters
  • Automated testing and programming in C, C++ or Python
  • Strong debugging and root‑cause analysis skills
  • System test planning and development
