Looking for a new CAD Engineering challenge in the Bristol area? This is a great option for a CAD Engineer to join one of the UK’s leading IC Design firms. Hybrid working is available.
As the successful CAD Engineer you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of interesting and challenging design projects while diversifying and expanding your knowledge.
Responsibilities will include:
- PDK installation, configuration and maintenance
- Physical IP library installation, configuration and maintenance (Standard cells, IOs, memories etc.)
- CAD tool installation, configuration and maintenance
- Supporting the IC design engineering teams on day-to-day activities relating to CAD provision
- Working with IC design engineering teams to develop methodology improvements
- Direct technical interfacing with external foundries and CAD tool vendors
You will have:
- Previous experience working as a CAD Engineer, with a sound understanding of analog IC development
- Good knowledge of the appropriate IC design tools and process design kits for silicon chip design
- Cadence Virtuoso know-how
- Scripting experience in Linux/unix, python, Skill, TCL or other
