I’m working with a global semiconductor company developing technologies that enable electrification, energy efficiency and next-generation connected devices.
They’re looking for a Staff Verification Engineer to join their R&D team in Bristol, working on the verification of complex IPs used in products that are deployed across automotive, industrial, energy and consumer applications worldwide.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing a deep understanding of complex digital IPs and driving verification activities from planning through to sign-off
- Developing and maintaining SystemVerilog/UVM verification environments and testbench components
- Defining functional coverage models and creating constrained-random test scenarios
- Driving coverage closure and ensuring verification quality targets are achieved
- Debugging failing test cases and identifying root causes
- Working closely with design and architecture teams throughout the development cycle
- Contributing to verification strategy and the evolution of IP testbench architecture
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and helping identify risks early in the development process
What they’re looking for
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- 3-5 years’ experience in Digital Verification
- Strong hands‑on experience with SystemVerilog, UVM and SVAs
- Experience developing verification platforms, frameworks or reusable verification environments
- Proven experience verifying complex IP and delivering against verification metrics and coverage targets
- Ability to interpret design specifications and translate requirements into effective verification solutions
- Experience using industry‑standard EDA tools
- Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills
- Fluent English communication skills
