Overview
The Senior Project Manager role leads the development of wireless communication products used in commercial and defence applications. Working across RF, hardware, firmware and software engineering teams, you'll own technically complex programmes from concept through production and help bring next-generation connectivity solutions to market. The role is based in Bristol on a hybrid basis and offers a competitive package with excellent benefits and long-term career progression. Responsibilities
- Manage complex hardware and software development programmes from feasibility through to production
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across RF, embedded software, firmware, PCB and mechanical design
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies
- Work closely with operations and manufacturing to support NPI and production transfer
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and external partners
- Provide clear project reporting and ensure delivery remains aligned with business objectives
What you'll bring
- Experience managing complex engineering projects within hardware-focused environments
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary product development involving RF systems, PCB design, embedded software and firmware
- Experience managing projects through the complete product development lifecycle, including manufacturing readiness
- Knowledge of structured stage-gate development alongside Agile software delivery
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience within wireless communications, telecommunications, defence or advanced electronics would be highly advantageous
