We are seeking a hands-on Validation / Test Engineer with strong experience working directly on hardware systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a highly collaborative engineering team.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Validating and testing hardware platforms and storage solutions.
- Working across storage concepts, interfaces and media, ensuring reliable performance and compliance.
- Analysing large data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and failure modes.
- Using PCIe knowledge to support evaluation of system behaviour and performance (highly desirable).
- Running tests and debugging using Linux CLI tools and Git for version control.
- Collaborating closely with hardware, firmware, and systems engineering teams to resolve complex issues.
What We’re Looking For:
- Background in SoC, automotive, telecoms, or similar hardware-focused environments.
- Strong understanding of basic storage concepts, storage interfaces, and different types of storage media.
- Some familiarity with hardware-related protocols and data flows.
- Comfortable using Linux command line tools and Git in a test environment.
- Experience working directly with physical hardware — not solely software test.
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets, with strong problem-solving skills.
