We are seeking a hands-on Validation / Test Engineer with strong experience working directly on hardware systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a highly collaborative engineering team.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Validating and testing hardware platforms and storage solutions.
  • Working across storage concepts, interfaces and media, ensuring reliable performance and compliance.
  • Analysing large data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and failure modes.
  • Using PCIe knowledge to support evaluation of system behaviour and performance (highly desirable).
  • Running tests and debugging using Linux CLI tools and Git for version control.
  • Collaborating closely with hardware, firmware, and systems engineering teams to resolve complex issues.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Background in SoC, automotive, telecoms, or similar hardware-focused environments.
  • Strong understanding of basic storage concepts, storage interfaces, and different types of storage media.
  • Some familiarity with hardware-related protocols and data flows.
  • Comfortable using Linux command line tools and Git in a test environment.
  • Experience working directly with physical hardware — not solely software test.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets, with strong problem-solving skills.
