This role gives the opportunity to work on innovative connected devices for a company based in Coventry going from strength to strength in a rapidly emerging market. As an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and test of new products as the company looks to push into new areas of the market. You will get the chance to work on the hardware design and provide expert solutions from concept to production. Your role will allow you to take ownership for new product development and become the technical leader for all new electronics design.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Engineering Manager and join a dynamic and rapidly growing R&D team. You will be rewarded with a great salary and benefits package as well as the opportunity to enjoy flexible working.
Skills required:
- A good understanding of board level design β schematic capture, PCB design & layout
- Experience of both analogue and digital design
- Experience of designing with microprocessors / microcontrollers
- An understanding of communications protocols
- Background in designing to regulatory requirements
- IoT connected device experience is a bonus
