Our client is developing cutting-edge, next generation compound semiconductors, and is a leader within the North East’s emerging semiconductor cluster. They are now searching for a Semiconductor Process Integration and Yield Manager to be responsible for the development and integration of new process technologies and to lead yield improvement initiatives across existing production qualified manufacturing processes.
The role will involve acting as an interface with all disciplines within the Operations Dept to ensure stable, robust, repeatable, sustainable and high yielding manufacturing processes are achieved, monitored and maintained with the needs of the customer being paramount.
The primary function of the role is to work closely with the environmental agencies and specialist consultants to ensure the plant and equipment are designed and operated in a manner that ensures the licenses to operate are fully adhered to and complied with.
Required skills for the Semiconductor Process Integration and Yield Manager will include:
- Experience of working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
- +2 years management experience
- Evidence of understanding development or production within a quality environment
- Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering/Physics or other relevant degree
