Our client is developing cutting-edge, next-generation compound semiconductors and is a leader within the North East's emerging semiconductor cluster. They are seeking a Lead Reliability Engineer to join the reliability engineering team to deliver core support activity underpinning product development and manufacturing. This role will be pivotal in providing reliability engineering support for processes essential to the product development programs, qualifications, investigations and improvement activities, by identifying potential failure modes and driving improvements in the product and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide reliability engineering support for processes integral to product development programs, qualifications, investigations and improvement activities.
  • Identify potential failure modes and drive improvements in product and manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability requirements are met throughout development and manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • Proven semiconductor reliability experience and methodologies.
  • Technical experience within a production environment.
  • Managerial experience beneficial.
  • Applied Science, Electronic Engineering or similar degree or equivalent.
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
