This is an exciting opportunity for a Director of Projects to join a growing company within the Space sector. As the Director of Project Management, you will support the company's product development by ensuring the successful management of their R&D projects relating to the development of electronic components. You will manage a small team of Project Managers and report directly into the CEO. This position offers a great step for anyone who is looking to be part of a company's journey, offering a salary of up to £110k plus shares and other benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Led and managed the development program from concept to production, ensuring that projects were delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, verification, and validation teams, to achieve project milestones.
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to the design and development teams.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to address technical challenges and ensure the successful implementation of their products.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships with key partners, suppliers, and customers to ensure alignment with project goals.

As well as having experience with the above, you will need to have the following experience:

  • Must have experience managing projects relating to the development of electronic or semiconductor products.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
