This is a remote-working opportunity for an Analog IC Design Engineer with our expanding silicon design client based in the UK. Our client has plans to expand the silicon team with multiple engineers this year. Working as part of a friendly mixed-signal IC team, the Analog IC Design Engineer will have the chance to work on a wide range of interesting and challenging design projects, taking responsibility for:

  • Design and simulation of Analog/Mixed Signal blocks – e.g. Oscillators, temperature sensors, references, amps, ADC/DACs, PLLs, synthesizer building blocks, VCOs, etc.
  • Full involvement in circuit design flow from definition and specification to production
  • Top level IC Analog/Mixed Signal performance and functional verification

Requirements include:

  • Experience within Analog/Mixed-Signal Design, ideally with several years’ of experience within industry
  • System Level design experience would be ideal (defining architecture / block specification) and/or full custom layout for block and chip level
  • Knowledge of phase-locked loops (PLLs) and sigma-delta modulators
  • Highly motivated and a great communicator
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

Excellent communication skills are required as well as the ability to take responsibility for complex circuit and system designs within delivery timescales. This is an excellent opportunity to be a key player within a growing company and management opportunities are possible for the right person.
