This role as a DFT Engineer involves working on a cutting-edge AI accelerator architecture designed to enhance high-performance computing capabilities.


Responsibilities



  • Contribute to the design-for-test (DFT) architecture of a complex multi-core AI accelerator system on chip (SoC).

  • Integrate DFT methodologies and tools into the overall ASIC design process.

  • Implement scan insertion, scan compression, and related test logic.

  • Generate, analyze, and debug automatic test pattern generation (ATPG) patterns to ensure structural fault coverage.

  • Support the implementation of memory built-in self-test (MBIST) for large embedded memory arrays.

  • Collaborate closely with Physical Design teams to ensure effective scan chain implementation and achieve timing closure.

  • Develop scripting and automation solutions to enhance DFT efficiency and workflows.

  • Assist in silicon bring-up, manufacturing testing, and post-silicon debugging.

  • Work with Product and Test Engineering teams to facilitate automated test equipment (ATE) bring-up, production testing, and yield enhancement.


Requirements



  • A degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience in design-for-test (DFT), digital integrated circuit (IC) design, or ASIC development.

  • A solid understanding of scan architecture, ATPG, MBIST, and digital testing methodologies.

  • Familiarity with industry-standard electronic design automation (EDA) tools.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or similar.
