We are seeking a Senior IC Test Engineer to join our international client in Bristol, England.
This position involves the development, deployment, and optimization of semiconductor test solutions specifically on the Advantest V93000 platform.
The role encompasses supporting products from the initial silicon evaluation phase through to mass production, including wafer and package-level testing, characterisation, qualification, and production support in collaboration with offshore OSAT partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement hardware and software test solutions for both wafer and package testing.
- Work closely with design, product, validation, and applications teams to assess new integrated circuit (IC) designs.
- Assist in Design for Test (DFT) initiatives, as well as characterisation, reliability, and qualification testing.
- Deploy and maintain test solutions at offshore manufacturing locations.
- Enhance test programs to boost yield, minimize testing duration, and improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Engage in design and test review meetings, providing comprehensive technical reports.
Essential Requirements
- Significant experience in semiconductor Automated Test Equipment (ATE) testing.
- Familiarity with the Advantest V93000 platform is preferred.
- A solid background in high-speed mixed-signal IC testing.
- Knowledge of high-speed printed circuit board (PCB) design and schematic development.
- Experience in supporting offshore testing or production environments.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
