An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Verification and Validation Test Engineer to join a leading global company in Bristol. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in verification and validation within an embedded environment, with a focus on converting requirements into structured test cases and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct verification and validation (V&V) activities in an embedded software environment.
- Transform requirements into structured test cases and procedures.
- Utilize scripting skills to enhance testing processes.
- Work effectively in a lab environment to execute tests and validate results.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in verification and validation activities within embedded software.
- Experience in embedded software development, specifically using Ada.
- Familiarity with the complete software engineering lifecycle.
- Strong scripting abilities to support testing efforts.
- Desirable knowledge of safety‑critical systems and relevant standards such as DefStan 00-55, DO-178C, DO-330, and RTOS.
- Experience with test automation and DOORS is a plus.
- Applicants must be British Citizens due to the nature of the work.
