Due to continued growth and expansion we’re looking for 2 highly experienced Commercial Account Handlers to join our Bolton office. You will be responsible for the broking and placement of a diverse portfolio of existing client accounts as well as new business opportunities. Working closely with our team of Account Executives, you will help provide an expert and efficient service and use your technical expertise to evaluate and improve our clients’ insurance programmes. You will be the respected face of IC Insurance to the market, using your extensive insurer relationships to successfully negotiate cover, premiums and brokerage with underwriters. Your experience and expertise will ensure our clients always get the best terms available while shaping and implementing our placement strategy.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ brokering experience of premiums between 15k – 750,000k and be confident using Acturis. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to client service are essential, but more importantly we’re looking for someone with a great attitude to work, who takes pride in what they do and enjoys being part of the team.
