We are seeking an experienced Performance Testing Engineer with deep expertise in LoadRunner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of professional experience with a strong focus on performance testing and engineering, demonstrating mastery in LoadRunner scripting, test execution, and advanced result analysis. This role offers the opportunity to lead end-to-end performance engineering initiatives on enterprise-level applications, including Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and complex, large-scale systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive LoadRunner scripts for Web, TruClient, and Web Services protocols, including custom coding and advanced script enhancements.
- Execute performance tests independently, managing the complete test lifecycle from planning through execution and reporting.
- Analyze complex performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize application performance.
- Lead end-to-end performance engineering activities for enterprise applications, including native mobile apps, mobile web, and batch applications.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to understand performance requirements and validate optimization efforts.
- Engage with clients to communicate performance testing strategies, results, and recommendations with clear technical and business insights.
Required Qualifications
- ~10-12 years of overall professional experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- ~7-9 years of hands-on experience in Performance Testing (PT) and Performance Engineering (PE).
- Expert-level proficiency in LoadRunner (scripting, execution, analysis, and result interpretation).
- ~5-6 years of dedicated, hands-on experience with LoadRunner tool.
- Strong expertise in LoadRunner scripting including advanced script enhancements and custom coding.
- Hands-on experience with Web, TruClient, and Web Services protocols.
- Proven experience with performance testing of Native Mobile Apps, Mobile Web, and Batch applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while handling complex, end-to-end performance engineering activities.
Domain Experience
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM (preferred but not strictly required).
Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong client engagement and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
