We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/DS Consultant with strong expertise in S/4HANA Embedded PP/DS to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of advanced production planning solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CIF integration, PP/DS master data management, and detailed scheduling processes, along with the ability to drive workshops and lead solution delivery.
The consultant will be responsible for implementing planning heuristics, finite scheduling, and capacity planning strategies, while ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and business processes. This role requires strong functional expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, and experience supporting testing, cutover, and hypercare phases in SAP implementations.
Must Have Skills- SAP PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling)
- SAP S/4HANA Embedded PP/DS
- CIF Integration
- PP/DS Master Data Management (PDS, Resources, Modes)
- Detailed Scheduling & Planning Heuristics
- Experience with SAP APO PP/DS migration to S/4HANA Embedded PP/DS
- Knowledge of Advanced Planning Optimization tools
- Experience with SAP integration across modules (MM, SD, EWM)
- Exposure to SAP Fiori apps for PP/DS
- Understanding of manufacturing planning and supply chain processes
- Lead Embedded PP/DS design, configuration, and end-to-end delivery within SAP S/4HANA.
- Manage CIF integration and ensure accurate synchronization of master and transactional data.
- Configure and maintain PP/DS master data, including PDS, resources, modes, and planning parameters.
- Implement planning heuristics, finite scheduling, and capacity leveling to optimize production planning.
- Own and manage Detailed Scheduling Board (DS Board), alerts, pegging relationships, and PP/DS optimizer where applicable.
- Conduct client workshops to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Prepare and manage Functional Specifications (FS) and WRICEF objects.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, and hypercare activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth solution delivery.
- Provide guidance and support to junior consultants and project teams.
