Overview Swimming Instructor 2 hours per week: 9.00 - 11.00 am - Sundays Expected start date: 6 September 2026 Grade 7 - £13.90 basic hourly rate, plus enhancement Zero hour contract Responsibilities Deliver high-quality swimming lessons following established lesson plans Adapt teaching to suit varying age groups and skill levels Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants in the pool Maintain a positive, encouraging atmosphere in the classroom and pool Communicate effectively with parents, carers and other colleagues as required Requirements Recognised Swimming Instructor qualification (e.g. Swim England Level 2) Experience teaching children and/or adults in a pool environment Current and valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Benefits / Why Join Us Opportunity to gain experience across different classes and age groups Supportive team and friendly working environment Competitive and enhanced rate of pay Closing Date The closing date for completed applications is 9.00 am on Friday 21 August 2026, with interviews taking place shortly afterwards.
