We are seeking to appoint Classroom Assistants (in Prep and Pre-Prep School) who will be responsible to the Co-Heads of the Prep School and Head of Pre-Prep School, through the Class Teacher (Reception - Year 6). Classroom Assistants work under the direction of the class teacher and play a valuable role, supporting and caring for the children. It is important for assistants to be sensitive to the needs of the class teacher, to react with initiative as appropriate, and to support those with difficulties in the classroom.
All members of staff in the Pre-Prep and Prep School consider themselves as members of a team and help and support each other. This is a permanent, term-time only role, Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.30pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break), with a six months probationary period. The School will be open to discuss flexibility with start and finish times, if necessary.
Start date on 1 September, 2026 or as soon as possible. Salary £24,625 per annum. Deadline for applications - 3 May 2026.
