To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to come and join our team at our Ellistown Factory in Ellistown, Coalville, LE67 1HY.
The successful candidate will be providing plant wide maintenance service, departmental support and mechanical repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained.
The shift pattern for this Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role is a 5 on 5 off day and nights, 12 hours shift patterns (5,5,4 shift patterns), option of overtime is there for those that would like to earn extra.
As such we are keen to speak with an experienced industrial Mechanical Maintenance Engineer seeking to join our forward-thinking company with large backing who wants to further their professional career.

β’ The ability to work with a team of skilled engineers across maintenance and project engineering activities.
Responsibilities include:
Providing plant wide maintenance service, departmental support and mechanical repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained.
Monitor & supply Engineering support of machine set-up & changeovers to ensure that the product conforms to any quality assurance standards and ensuring changeovers are as efficient as possible.
Daily liaison with the Engineering Manager/Technical & Production Manager to ensure that all production maintenance requirements are undertaken.
As a member of the Engineering team promote the development and implementation of the Factory IMS & CMMS system.
Design, fabrication and machining of parts and structures to service the needs of the business.
As a member of the engineering department applying rigorous application of TPM Tools & Techniques to generate Continuous Improvement throughout all areas of the Factory.
As a member of the Engineering team applying the 5S principles to deliver world-class standards of housekeeping.
Qualifications & Experience:
Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship (Advanced) and Qualification.
Completed an apprenticeship in Engineering (Dual Disciplined or Mechanical bias).
Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship to level 3 city and Guilds, NVQ etc
Time Served, Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering Maintenance (Mechanical), Engineering Manufacture (Mechanical), Mechatronics (Mechanical) or equivalent
Pneumatics, hydraulics, Conveyors, Gearboxes and industrial mechanical skills
Welding skills would be an advantage
High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions to problems.
Maintenance experience and fault diagnosis of Pneumatics and Hydraulics systems
Knowledge of Welding / Basic Fabrication
Computer literate in MS Word and Excel
Knowledge of basic continuous improvement tools and techniques
Good knowledge of current Health and Safety Law and best practice application within a manufacturing environment
