This 4āyear programme will equip you with a Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship, while offering you handsāon experience, mentorship from industry experts, and a competitive salary.
What We Offer
- Starting salary: £21,415.68 per annum, with yearly pay increases upon successful completion of each year.
- Qualification: A nationally recognised qualification and the skills needed to become a qualified multiāskilled engineer.
- Training: Fullātime training at MAKE UK Training School in your first year ā you will be residential and live in Birmingham in 4āweek blocks (we cover all travel and accommodation costs).

What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting our engineering team with the maintenance of plant equipment and preventive tasks.
- Studying a range of subjects, including Electronic Fault Finding, Features and Applications of Electrical Machines, and Principles and Operations of ThreeāPhase Systems, among others.
- Studying a number of Mechanical units in both your knowledge and competency qualifications such as Maintaining Mechanical Equipment and Mechanical Fault Diagnosis to build your expertise in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
- Developing key computer skills ā you'll input data into our maintenance system and help analyse production data.
Who We're Looking For
- 5 GCSEs at Grade 4ā9 (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science.
- A genuine interest in engineering and a desire to learn.
- A full UK driving licence (advantageous but not essential).
