This is a full‑time, permanent, hybrid position at our head office.

Responsibilities

  • Advise and coach managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence, conduct, capability, and performance matters.
  • Manage employee relations cases from initial consultation through to outcome and appeal stages.
  • Support workplace investigations and the preparation of investigation reports.
  • Handle employee complaints and conflict resolution.
  • Attend formal hearings and meetings.
  • Advise on risk management and best HR practice.
  • Interpret employment policies, assisting with policy development and reviews.
  • Analyse ER trends and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records, case documentation, and logs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience in an Employee Relations or HR Advisor role with case management.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR policies.
  • Experience handling ER cases independently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage sensitive matters confidentially.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
