To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Production Manager to come and join our team at our Dewsbury factory in Dewsbury, WF12 9EF.
Key Responsibilities:- The development and promotion through effective communication of Company, Factory and team plans and their focused implementation to achieve defined objectives.
- People Management, motivation and structured development of the team through performance review to ensure delivery of objectives through Team working.
- Rigorous application of the Ibstock Manufacturing system to deliver Continuous Improvement across all areas of Manufacturing.
- Implementation of and adherence to all Company and Factory control procedures to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements in Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality.
- The collection, assimilation and analysis of production and process data and its effective use to develop and achieve key targets and objectives.
- The development of systems and standards to deliver world-class standards of housekeeping using the 5S principles.
- Procurement of production materials, goods and services within defined areas of the production environment.
- Effective interdepartmental liaison to achieve defined objectives.
- A Proven track record in a continuous manufacturing environment at the level advertised or above.
- A high degree of self-motivation.
- The ability to self-manage and adjust to changing business needs.
- The ability to understand, accept and achieve targets and deadlines.
- Demonstrable organisational skills including efficient planning and implementation of systems and procedures.
- Leadership and people management skills and the ability to build, motivate, develop and improve the team.
- Demonstrable ability to implement structured problem solving techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively and to communicate effectively across all departments and levels of the business.
