Responsibilities
- Determine product requirements and, where required, produce suitable drawings in response to customer enquiries.
- Deliver increased sales and improved profitability through specification within the building products sector.
- Develop new and existing customer relationships in order to maximise the full potential of all accounts within the territory.
- Answer technical customer queries via e‑mail, telephone and face‑to‑face meetings.
- Manage project administration, ensuring drawings, correspondence and other project related documents are filed and maintained.
- Deliver customer quotations within required timelines and company expectations.
- Be an influence and integral participant in the ways of working within the department to help maximise opportunities.
- Weekly chase quotes via telephone & e‑mail and maintain relationships.
- Keep up to date with changes in British standards/building regulations.
- Monitor the stages of a project to keep costs in line with forecasts.
- Set up new customer accounts and liaise with QS’s & Buyers to help settle account.
