Responsibilities

  • Determine product requirements and, where required, produce suitable drawings in response to customer enquiries.
  • Deliver increased sales and improved profitability through specification within the building products sector.
  • Develop new and existing customer relationships in order to maximise the full potential of all accounts within the territory.
  • Answer technical customer queries via e‑mail, telephone and face‑to‑face meetings.
  • Manage project administration, ensuring drawings, correspondence and other project related documents are filed and maintained.
  • Deliver customer quotations within required timelines and company expectations.
  • Be an influence and integral participant in the ways of working within the department to help maximise opportunities.
  • Weekly chase quotes via telephone & e‑mail and maintain relationships.
  • Keep up to date with changes in British standards/building regulations.
  • Monitor the stages of a project to keep costs in line with forecasts.
  • Set up new customer accounts and liaise with QS’s & Buyers to help settle account.

  • High level computer user including MS Office package.
