We are currently recruiting for a Quarry Operative to join our team at our Redhurst Quarry in Essington, Wolverhampton.
Key Responsibilities
- The operation of a 360º Excavator blending clays from stockpile faces and moving materials as directed
- The operation of a wheeled front end loader, loading materials into lorries for delivery into the factories and ensuring that high quality raw material of the appropriate consistency is sent to the factory.
- The operation of a wheeled tractor with the following attachments: water bowser, brush, loading forks, front end loading bucket, salt/grit spreader
- Operation of weighbridge and water treatment plant.
- Ensuring all plant and equipment in use within the quarry is checked and maintained (maintaining highest standards of housekeeping and environmental management).
- Inspect and maintain areas in accordance with local Health & Safety Standards and work within Standard Safe Operating Procedures.
- Deliver through TPM plant improvement initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Assist in the development of SSOPs and risk assessments.
- Complete appropriate quality assessments.

- High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
