To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for an Employee Relations Advisor to come and join our team at our head office in Ibstock, Leicestershire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise and coach managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence, conduct, capability, and performance matters.
  • Manage employee relations cases from initial consultation through to outcome and appeal stages.
  • Support workplace investigations and the preparation of investigation reports.
  • Manage employee complaints and conflict resolution.
  • Support formal hearings and meetings.
  • Advise on risk management and best HR practice.
  • Interpret employment policies, assisting with policy development and reviews.
  • Analyse ER trends and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records and case documentation and log.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in Employee Relations or HR Advisor role and case management.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR policies.
  • Experience of handling ER cases independently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal/conflict resolution skills.
  • Problem solving and decision making.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage sensitive matters confidentially.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
