Join us as a Dual-Skilled Apprentice Engineer and take your first step towards becoming a fully qualified engineer. This 4-year programme will equip you with a Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship, while offering you hands-on experience, mentorship from industry experts, and a competitive salary.
What We Offer:
- Starting salary: £21,415.68 per annum, with yearly pay increases upon successful completion of each year.
- A nationally recognised qualification and the skills needed to become a qualified multi-skilled engineer.
- Full-time training at MAKE UK Training School in your first year, which will be residential and live in Birmingham in 4-week blocks (we cover all travel and accommodation costs when staying over at Make UK).

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting our engineering team with the maintenance of plant equipment and preventative tasks.
- Studying a range of subjects, including Electronic Fault Finding, Features and Applications of Electrical Machines, and Principles and Operations of Three-Phase Systems.
- Studying a number of Mechanical units in both your knowledge and competency qualifications such as Maintaining Mechanical Equipment and Mechanical Fault Diagnosis.
- Developing key computer skills, as you’ll input data into our maintenance system and help analyse production data.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Practical, hands-on individuals with the drive and passion to gain real-world experience with a market-leading company.
- 5 GCSEs at Grade 4-9 (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science.
- A genuine interest in engineering and a desire to learn.
- A full UK driving licence (advantageous but not essential).
