To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to come and join our team at our Dewsbury site (WF12 9EF). As our Customer Service Advisor, you will manage and enhance our customer journey - specifically relating to enquiries, order management and discrepancy management. As a guardian of our customer experience, you will deliver a professional, helpful, warm, and hassle-free service, understanding needs and requirements to engage, align to our business values and ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
As our Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for:
- Fast, easy and hassle-free provision of information to customers including price, lead-time, order status, product information and alternatives.
- Accurate and efficient order entry, converting the customer's requirements into ERP to agreed parameters and SLAs.
- Close liaison with customers, commercial, Production and logistics partner personnel to meet and exceed customer needs.
- Fielding and managing customer complaints and discrepancies, including logging, investigation, resolution and remedial actions.
In order to be successful as our Customer Service Advisor, you will ideally be/have:
- Great interpersonal and communication skills - verbal and written.
- Working knowledge of Windows based IT Systems.
- Able to work at pace and to prioritise workload at busy times.
- Experience of working to build relationships and deep understanding of customer needs.
- Warm, approachable, 'can do' attitude.
- A sense of urgency, ownership and doing the right thing for customers.
- Proactive view to manage and take ownership of order from inception to delivery.
Previous experience working in customer service within a manufacturing environment and/or exposure to the building industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
