Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be assisting their client in the search for an Associate Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established MEP team delivering high-quality design across a diverse project portfolio. This is a senior opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead projects and teams, working across a wide range of sectors including commercial, education, residential and specialist environments. You will take a key role in leading mechanical design delivery, managing project teams and maintaining strong client relationships, while supporting the continued growth of the business.

The Role

  • Lead MEP engineering teams delivering a range of design projects
  • Act as lead engineer for mechanical building services design from concept through to detailed stages
  • Manage project delivery, risk and commercial performance
  • Produce and oversee reports, drawings and specifications across RIBA stages
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers and contractors
  • Attend client and technical meetings, providing clear and confident advice
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, standards and health and safety requirements

About You

  • Strong background in mechanical building services design within consultancy or contractor environment
  • Experience leading projects and managing teams
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
  • Chartered or working towards IEng or CEng status
  • Proficient in CAD and BIM tools including Revit
  • Strong commercial awareness and project management capability
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
