No fixed days in the office, only travelling to the office when needed for client/team meetings or site visits, which will usually be coupled with a social/team meet up.
Alongside your experience in Building Services, you would also receive additional training to take on the following duties:
- Undertake site inspections at various sites throughout the UK (typically in and around London and within 2 hours commute, but from time-to-time travel further around the UK and in Europe).
- Following site surveys, carry out a review of (Landlord/Operator) servicing, maintenance and statutory testing documentation and a review of (Landlord/Tenant/Operator) O&Ms/base build specifications (as made available) to assist and inform the reports.
- Production of MEP (technical due diligence/vendors/condition) reports including summary of the mechanical services, commentary on condition of installed services, high-level principal considerations and major MEP capital expenditure costs across the next 10-year period.
- Review of the tenure documentation including leases, licences for alterations, wayleave agreements, schedules of condition, base build definitions, Tenant fit-out guides etc.
- Prepare dilapidations assessments associated with the M&E systems for the demises in the requested format.
- Produce PPM CAPEX schedules across multiple properties.
- Undertake feasibility studies including site inspections, review of information and use the client brief to inform the strategy for the study. Produce a formal report and drawings, where necessary, to inform the feasibility study at various properties.
