Your new company is a leading international building services consultancy seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Project Engineer to join their high-performing London team. Your new role involves playing a key role in the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems, working within multidisciplinary teams on some of the most challenging and prestigious projects in the UK and internationally. Projects are varied and confidential in nature but include:

  • Large-scale secure government and defence facilities
  • Highly serviced commercial developments
  • Complex infrastructure and data-driven environments
  • Net-zero and sustainability-led engineering schemes

You will be responsible for:

  • Mechanical design (HVAC, public health, building systems) from concept through to completion
  • Producing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
  • Collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Supporting project delivery, including site involvement and commissioning stages
  • Contributing to sustainable and low-carbon design solutions

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • 3-6 years' experience within a building services consultancy environment
  • Strong technical design capability across HVAC systems
  • Experience working on complex or high-security projects is advantageous
  • Ability to contribute within multidisciplinary project teams
  • Must be eligible for DV clearance (British citizenship typically required; clean background history)
