A successful, growing consulting practice recognised across the south coast, offering fantastic career progression opportunities is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic, talented, and friendly Building Services team. This position will give you the opportunity to work on cutting edge projects across both public and private sectors, gain hands‑on experience in electrical building services design, energy efficiency, and project management; and receive structured training and mentorship on the path to Chartered Engineer status.

The Role:

  • Practical Project Involvement – Assisting in the design of electrical building services, including power distribution, lighting, generators, UPS systems, fire alarms, and sustainable/renewable energy solutions.
  • Site Experience – Conducting on‑site surveys and assessments to improve energy performance and attending project/design team meetings, gaining a deeper understanding of regulations and energy standards relating to the design and installation of electrical systems within buildings.
  • Technical Development – Learning to prepare technical reports, specifications, and CAD drawings, ensuring a well‑rounded skill set.
  • Mentorship & Career Growth – Working alongside experienced Chartered Engineers, with tailored guidance to support professional development and career progression.
