Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be assisting their client in the search for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering team delivering a wide range of technically diverse projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer looking to work across varied and high-profile schemes, gaining exposure to sectors including high-rise residential, commercial fit out, healthcare, defence, retail and large-scale developments. You will play a key role in delivering electrical design solutions while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams across the full project lifecycle.
The Role
- Produce electrical design calculations using software such as Amtech, Dialux and Relux
- Deliver designs using CAD and BIM tools including Revit
- Attend client and project meetings, presenting design solutions
- Undertake condition surveys and technical assessments
- Carry out third-party design reviews
- Support project delivery from inception through to completion
- Contribute to site monitoring and oversee installation works
About You
- Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- Experience in electrical design within consultancy or contractor environment
- Working towards chartered status or keen to progress
- Strong experience with design software including Amtech, Dialux or similar
- Proficient in CAD and ideally Revit
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Motivated, organised and keen to develop
