Guidewire Architect - Contract
Location: Norwich/London - Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)
Duration: 6 months Rolling Contract

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Architect to join a major P&C/General Insurance transformation programme. You will be responsible for defining and governing solution and integration architecture across Guidewire implementations, upgrades and migrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own target-state and solution architecture for Guidewire platforms.
- Design Guidewire integrations using APIs, messaging, microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Lead technical design workshops and provide architecture guidance to engineering teams.
- Support Guidewire Cloud adoption, including security, scalability and resilience.
- Produce and review HLDs, LLDs, NFRs and architecture decisions.
- Work closely with engineering, business, security, data and senior stakeholders.
Key Requirements
- Strong Guidewire Solution/Technical Architecture experience.
- Deep knowledge of at least 2 Guidewire InsuranceSuite products - ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter.
- Strong P&C/General Insurance experience across policy, underwriting, claims and/or billing.
- Strong integration architecture experience with REST/SOAP APIs, messaging and microservices.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud, Azure and/or AWS.
- Knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps and CI/CD environments.
- Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management skills.
