My client, a large consultancy, is in need of a Splunk Developer for a 6 month contract inside IR35 based in Edinburgh offering 2 days per week remote but requiring 3 days per week on-site.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in:
- Strong hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise
- Proven experience with Splunk ITSI (KPI design and service modelling, Glass Tables, Episode review & RCA workflows)
- Excellent command of SPL (Search Processing Language)
- Strong understanding of Data models & CIM
- Index management and performance tuning
- Experience integrating Splunk with Application, infrastructure, and cloud platforms
- Hands-on experience with alerting, correlation searches, and dashboards
The ideal candidate will desirably have strong experience in:
- Splunk Observability (APM, Infrastructure Monitoring) exposure
- CI/CD integration for Splunk content (Git, Jenkins, DevOps pipelines)
