We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Product Owner to serve as a bridge between Product Strategists/Customers and the Engineering team to translate the product vision to tangible work backlog. The Product Owner assigns backlog priorities such that the product iterations are aligned to the strategic timelines. Risk mitigation and cadence of communication is another key focus area. In order to meticulously balance these responsibilities of the Product Owner, besides your tech and domain knowledge, good written/verbal communication, planning skills and strong understanding of agile methodology will come in handy.
Responsibilities:- Interface with Customers/Product Strategists for product vision and direction
- Drive envisioning to define and document detailed product backlog
- Plan, prioritise and commit the deliverables to Stakeholders
- Own product within squad(s)
- Prioritisation of backlog and planning product interactions
- Unblock team’s external dependencies
- Ensure a cadence of communication to stakeholders giving visibility of accomplishments, remaining backlog with tentative timeline and foreseeable risks
- Techno-domain experience in airline, offer order, retailing domains.
- Experience in driving product vision and managing product roadmap.
- Prior technical hands-on experience is a must.
- Deep understanding of domains - Airline Retailing, Offer Order, PSS will be key skills.
- Experience in driving multiple squads.
- Experience in driving product streams/initiatives from inception to product ship.
- Stakeholder management experience both external and internal across customers, engineering, product, SLT.
- Product owner with core techno-domain in One Order standards [Order Lifecycle, Accounting, Delivery] across Plan-Offer-Order-Payment domains.
- Prior experience in IATA working group participation/contribution preferable.
- Prior integration experience for actual lives or pilots a plus.
