IBP Recruitment are seeking an accomplished Design Lead to direct the delivery of our clients mobile network development projects, ensuring full compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. Operating as Principal Designer, this position will oversee the complete design lifecycle during the pre-construction phase, integrating robust health and safety principles into every stage of the process.
The ideal candidate must possess the following skills and experience:
- Lead and coordinate design programmes for mobile network infrastructure.
- Act as Principal Designer, managing design risk and maintaining comprehensive risk documentation.
- Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to align technical, operational, and safety objectives.
- Utilise advanced digital tools and sustainable methodologies, including BIM, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to multidisciplinary teams, fostering skills development.
The ideal candidate must possess the following skills and experience:
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Design; professional accreditation (RIBA, CEng) advantageous.
- Proven expertise in mobile network design with demonstrable knowledge of CDM regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM processes.
