The Role
We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard & Warehouse Operative to join our team in Bexhill.
This is a hands-on role where you'll support the smooth running of the yard, warehouse, and customer collection areas while delivering excellent customer service.
What You'll Be Doing
✅ Receiving and checking deliveries
✅ Storing stock safely and efficiently
✅ Picking and preparing customer orders
✅ Loading and unloading vehicles
✅ Assisting customers collecting materials
✅ Keeping the yard and warehouse clean and organised
✅ Carrying out stock checks
✅ Following all health & safety procedures
✅ Working as part of a busy branch team
What We're Looking For
✔ Previous yard, warehouse, or stock handling experience preferred
✔ Forklift licence and forklift operating experience preferred
✔ Good product knowledge of roofing or building materials
✔ Full UK Driving Licence essential
✔ Strong customer service skills
✔ Positive and team-focused attitude
✔ Good attention to detail
✔ Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
✔ Reliable, organised, and willing to learn
Hours
Monday to Friday 07:00am - 5:00pm
