Join our team at Grant & Stone Building Supplies, a respected independent builder’s merchant serving the Southeast since 1987. We’re expanding our delivery team at our Wantage Branch and are looking for a dependable HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver to help us continue delivering excellent service to our trade and retail customers.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations with no overnight stays, giving you a better work-life balance.
Specific Experience & Skills Required:- To transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of products
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary
- HIAB Class 2 licence
- Valid CPC
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Week 1: Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 17:00
- Week 2: Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 17:00 & alternate Saturdays, 08:00 to 12:00
