The Role
We are looking for a Store Manager to lead the safe, efficient and customer-focused delivery of our Supply Chain Services (SCS) proposition.
You'll ensure customers have dependable access to materials through a range of service solutions including managed stores, counter service, click & collect, van stock replenishment, delivery services and SmartStore, while driving stock accuracy, availability, safety and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead and develop store, warehouse and delivery teams
✅ Manage goods-in, storage, picking, dispatch and replenishment
✅ Ensure high stock accuracy and core product availability
✅ Champion and promote SCS solutions, including SmartStore where applicable
✅ Deliver exceptional service to operatives, supervisors and planners
✅ Monitor service levels, stock performance and operational KPIs
✅ Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and support customer needs
✅ Promote relevant SCS and wider IBMG products and services
✅ Maintain high health, safety and compliance standards
What We're Looking For
✔ Experience managing a store, warehouse, branch or materials operation
✔ Stock control, materials fulfilment and goods-in/out experience
✔ Knowledge of building materials, merchanting, repairs or logistics
✔ Strong leadership and customer service skills
✔ Commercially aware with the ability to identify opportunities to add value
✔ Confident using stock, ordering and reporting systems
