The Role
We're looking for a Smart Store Replenishment & Delivery Driver to support the delivery of our Supply Chain Services (SCS) proposition.
Working within our SCS operation, you'll ensure materials are available where and when customers need them by supporting SmartStore replenishment, van stock replenishment, special-product requirements and delivery services. You'll play a key role in maintaining stock availability, supporting responsive repairs and planned maintenance programmes, while promoting the effective use of the agreed customer proposition.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Collect stock from RGB and IBMG branches and transport it to SmartStore locations
✅ Replenish and maintain SmartStore stock levels to agreed availability targets
✅ Support van stock replenishment and delivery services within the SCS proposition
✅ Pick, load, unload and safely handle building, plumbing and electrical materials
✅ Maintain accurate stock, replenishment and transaction records
✅ Support urgent material requests and special-product requirements
✅ Champion the use of SmartStore and other SCS service solutions
✅ Maintain high standards of housekeeping, merchandising and stock organisation
✅ Monitor stock levels and report shortages, service risks or system issues
✅ Deliver exceptional service to customer operatives, supervisors and approved users
✅ Follow all health, safety, security and compliance procedures
What We're Looking For
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
✔ Experience in delivery driving, stock replenishment, logistics or builders' merchant operations
✔ Ability to safely handle and transport building materials
✔ Strong organisational and time management skills
✔ Comfortable working independently and managing daily priorities
✔ Experience using stock control or handheld systems is advantageous
✔ Knowledge of building materials, plumbing or electrical products is desirable
