The Role
We’re looking for a Tool Hire Regional Business Development Executive to grow sales across an agreed regional territory, covering Fairalls, Parkers and Chandlers branches. Based from our High Street Godstone branch, you’ll focus on winning new business, developing existing accounts and driving profitable growth for our Tool Hire operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and convert new Tool Hire business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Develop and deliver a regional sales plan
- Promote products, services, offers and new lines
- Negotiate pricing to achieve agreed margin targets
- Prepare and follow up quotations
- Plan daily calls and manage a structured calling cycle
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in Tool Hire (builders’ merchant preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills
- Well organised and results focused
- Knowledge of building supplies and Tool Hire services
- Good understanding of industry health & safety standards
