We're growing our team at Penzance and are looking for a reliable HGV Driver / Yard Operative to support both deliveries and yard operations.
What You'll Be Doing
✅ Delivering building materials safely and efficiently to customers
✅ Operating HGV vehicles in line with road and safety regulations
✅ Loading and unloading vehicles (HIAB use where applicable)
✅ Supporting yard operations when not out on deliveries
✅ Providing friendly, professional service to trade and retail customers
✅ Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining compliance
What We're Looking For
✔ Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
✔ Valid CPC & Tachograph Card
✔ HIAB Licence (Desirable)
✔ Forklift Licence (Desirable)
✔ Previous driving and/or yard experience
✔ Strong customer service and communication skills
✔ Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable team player
Working Hours
Week 1
Monday to Friday
7:30am - 5:00pm
Week 2
Monday to Friday
7:30am - 5:00pm
Saturday
8:00am -12:00
