Since 2010, Chandlers Roofing Supplies has specialised in roofing materials across the Southeast. Customer service is at the heart of everything we do, combining roofing expertise with the strength and support of the Independent Builders Merchants Group (IBMG).
We're growing our team at Scrubs Lane, London and are looking for a reliable HGV Driver / Yard Operative to support both deliveries and yard operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering building materials safely and efficiently to customers
- Operating HGV vehicles in line with road and safety regulations
- Loading and unloading vehicles (HIAB use where applicable)
- Supporting yard operations when not out on deliveries
- Providing friendly, professional service to trade and retail customers
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining compliance
What We're Looking For
- Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
- Valid CPC & Tachograph Card
- HIAB Licence (Desirable)
- Forklift Licence (Desirable)
- Previous driving and/or yard experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable team player
Working Hours
Week 1 Monday to Friday 6:30am - 3:30pm
Week 2 Monday to Friday 6:00am - 3:30pm Saturday 7:00am - 11:00am
