CRS Building Supplies has been serving customers across the South West since 2005, providing quality building materials backed by exceptional customer service. As part of the Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG), we combine local expertise with the support and buying power of a national group.

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Supervisor to help drive sales performance, support our team, and deliver outstanding service to our customers.

The Role

As Sales Supervisor, you'll work closely with the Branch Manager to support the day-to-day running of the branch, develop customer relationships, and help achieve sales and profit targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the Trade Counter and Internal Sales teams
  • Drive sales growth through proactive customer contact and quotation follow-up
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, tradespeople, and key accounts
  • Support the Branch Manager in achieving branch sales and profitability targets
  • Identify new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts
  • Monitor sales performance using Power BI and branch reporting tools
  • Manage margins and maximise sales opportunities
  • Ensure customer enquiries, quotations, and orders are handled efficiently and accurately
  • Promote excellent customer service across the branch

What We're Looking For

  • Sales experience within a Builders Merchant, Roofing Merchant, or Construction Supply environment
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Good commercial awareness and margin management experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive approach to winning new business and growing customer accounts
  • Ability to motivate and support colleagues to achieve branch objectives

Working Hours

Week 1: Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
Week 2: Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm, Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
